High Profile Canton sits right on Albany Turnpike (Route 44), the main artery running through the heart of the Farmington Valley. If you live in Canton, Collinsville, or Canton Center, we’re the shop you pass on your way through the valley — a few minutes from The Shoppes at Farmington Valley and an easy stop whether you’re headed east toward Avon or west toward the hills around New Hartford. We built this store to feel like it belongs on Route 44, not like it dropped in from somewhere else.
Because Canton sits at the hinge of the valley, folks reach us from both directions: the suburban towns of Avon, Simsbury, and Farmington to the east and south, and the smaller, more rural communities of Burlington, New Hartford, and Winsted to the west. Most of these towns are a ten- to fifteen-minute drive down 44, which is why so many of our regulars treat a stop here as part of their normal loop through the valley.
Walk in and you’ll get pointed in the right direction fast — our budtenders know the menu of flower, edibles, vapes, concentrates, and pre-rolls cold, and if you’d rather skip the counter, order ahead and grab it at the drive-thru pickup window. High Profile Canton is the Route 44 stop for the Farmington Valley towns of Hartford County. Avon sits just about 4 miles east on Route 44, roughly a six-minute drive, and Simsbury is only about 5 miles north via Route 167 — close enough that both feel like next-door neighbors. Head the other way and Burlington is a short ten-minute run, while New Hartford is about 6 miles west along the same Albany Turnpike corridor. Farmington rounds out the valley to the southeast, roughly 8 miles down the road. Whether you’re coming from the shops and neighborhoods around Avon or the wooded ridges past Collinsville, Canton sits at the center of it all, which is exactly why we planted the store here.
