Push a little farther and Mattapan (about 2.5 miles), Hyde Park (about 3 miles), and Roxbury (about 4 miles) all fold into everyday routines by way of American Legion Highway, Cummins Highway, and Washington Street. Dedham, across the Norfolk County line, is about 5 miles out via Enneking Parkway.
